What you'll see

Whether ChatGPT names you

A count of the answers that mention your business, and which questions did not.

Who it names instead

The businesses that keep turning up in your city, and how often, so you know who you are up against.

In your city

Every question is asked with your city, the way a customer there would ask it.

Questions

Is it really free?

Yes. No account, no card, and we do not ask for an email.

Where do the questions come from?

They are questions people type when they need your kind of business, such as who to call or who is best near them. We take them from the set Foxish runs for your category, leave out DIY and equipment questions and any that already name another town, and add your city to each.

Why does it say "one run"?

ChatGPT's answers change from run to run and from day to day. This is a live snapshot of eight questions, not a ranking and not a rate. That is why Foxish repeats the questions on a schedule.

Does it check Google, Gemini or Perplexity?

Not in this free check. It asks ChatGPT only. A Foxish account runs more assistants, depending on the plan.

What do you keep?

Your business name, the kind of business, your city and the result, so you can come back to it. Your IP address is stored only as a one-way hash, to limit how many checks one network can run.
